Maida - 1cup
Semolina - 2 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Milk powder - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Coconut powder - 4 tsp
Cardamom - a pinch
Powdered badam - 4 tsp
Powdered sugar - 4 tsp
Badam - as needed
Pista - as needed
Method
1. Mix maida, semolina, oil in a vessel with water to form a dough.
2. Mix milk powder with milk in a vessel, stir and cook.
3. When it does not stick to the vessel, add coconut powder, powdered badam, cardamom, sugar and stir well.
4. Remove the vessel from the stove and allow it to cool.
5. Take small balls of dough and roll into small pooris.
6. Place a small ball of filling, fold and paste the ends.
7. Mix sugar with water in a vessel and boil to prepare syrup.
8. Soak the gujiya's in syrup.
9. Place badam and pista on the gujiyas and serve.
